What is Bsafe Blackpool?

BSafe Blackpool is the Blackpool Community Safety and Drugs Partnership.

Everybody wants to live in a safe and pleasant environment, and BSafe Blackpool is committed to improving the town for the benefit of the people that live in, work in and visit the resort.

What does it do?

BSafe Blackpool is committed to reducing crime, disorder and substance misuse in the town, reassuring the public through a series of innovative projects and sophisticated intelligence.

Chief Sup. Russ Weaver

We also work closely with the local community to address their concerns and find tailor-made solutions to specific problems.

Where needed we can use the various powers available to us, such as Anti-Social Behaviour Orders (ABSOs), dispersal orders, and evictions. We don’t suffer fools gladly when the quality of life for our residents is undermined.

There are many ways in which we try to deter young or vulnerable people from being tempted by crime, and at the other end of the spectrum we’re committed to tackling prolific offenders – for example the National Treatment Agency for Substance Misuse has already commended the partnership for its “exceptional” performance in delivering quality drug treatment services.

The success of BSafe Blackpool relies on effective partnership working.

The five responsible authories are:
