Halloween Treats in Blackpool

When the shops are full to the brim with red devil costumes, bright orange pumpkins and treacle toffee it can mean only one thing: Halloween is around the corner.

There are plenty of things to do to keep entertained, and enjoy some family fun in Blackpool this autumn. From half-term horrors at Blackpool libraries to spooky events at Stanley Park, there’s enough going on to entice all ages and interests.

BSafe Blackpool, the multi-agency partnership, urges residents to take advantage of the many activities on offer.

Cllr Sue Wright, Vice Chair of BSafe Blackpool, says: “Halloween can be a fantastic time for children and youngsters. At a time when the nights are drawing in and it’s starting to get colder it’s an exciting opportunity to get outdoors for some festive fun and  get dressed up.

“Sadly, however, it’s also a time of year associated with numerous dangers. We urge parents to ask themselves exactly where their children are at this time of year and what they are doing. We also encourage parents to get involved in the fun and join in the many local organised activities, which offer something for the whole family.”

Events in Blackpool include:
