Respect Certificate of Thanks for local youngsters
Two young volunteers have been awarded with prestigious awards for their generosity to the local community.
Emma Smith and Alanya Barnes have been presented with 'Respect Certificate of Thanks' - which allow Blackpool Police, Council their partners to recognise local individuals for their efforts.
The volunteers have been working along side the Claremont Neighbourhood Policing Team this summer, assisting with the large number of local kids who have turned up at Claremont Park during the school summer holidays.

The pair are students at the Blackpool and Fylde College on the Pubic Services Course and have given up their own time to help out, one even travelling some distance at her own expense.
Their efforts have not only ensured that local children have had a great time this summer but have resulted in a significant reduction of Juvenile Nuisance calls and complaints to the police within the Claremont ward beat.
The local "Respect Certificate of Thanks" are presented to members of the public who make a real effort to make their community a better place to live.
